FOR THE FIRST TIME, D-BOX’S QUEST TAKES HOME MOTION SIMULATION VERTICAL – PREPARE TO BE ROCKED, ROLLED, SWAYED AND UPLIFTED – IT’S QUEST X3ME!

Longueuil, Quebec, Canada – September 2005 – D-BOX® Technologies, Inc. (TSXV: DBO.A) adds to their patented line-up of motion simulator products with the introduction of the Quest™ X3ME (pronounced “extreme”). With Quest X3ME motion simulation seating you are immersed in realistic motion that is perfectly synchronized on three separate axis points with the onscreen action and sound. D-BOX delivers a movie viewing experience unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before!

For the first time, D-BOX is able to replicate the front/back, left/right AND up/down motion of the company’s more expensive flagship product, Odyssee®. The addition of the third axis of vertical travel in Quest X3ME allows for a more vivid, encompassing movie viewing experience! Quest X3ME incorporates three SynDrive™ motorized Actuators into premium quality seating, specially designed to withstand the incredible motion forces and vibrations created by D-BOX’s proprietary motion simulation system. The Actuators – configured with two mounted in the front arms of the chair and the third in the rear center - deliver up 2Gs of acceleration to the viewer and provide up to 1.5 inches of vertical travel, nearly double the travel of previous models.

“With Quest X3ME, we’re offering a solution to those that are serious about their home theater experience, but working without a ‘sky is the limit’ budget,” said Michel Jacques, CEO and founder of D-BOX Technologies, Inc. “Motion Simulation Seating is the next step necessary for a truly immersive movie viewing experience, delivering the same bumps, shakes, turns and drops that occur onscreen so that that the viewer can experience the action first hand. D-BOX has created this market niche, and with our more moderately-priced Quest line, we’re delivering these technologies to a larger audience.”

The ultimate plug-and-play solution for those looking for something more from their home theater, Quest X3ME seating can be controlled two ways – with the Series 3 340c Kinetron™ controller, or with a PC3 Motion Controller Interface (MCI) and PC-based software, both of which offer Internet subscription updates to the growing collection of D-BOX F/X motion codes. Both control systems include D-BOX’s F/X Motion Code Volume 4 with 100 titles. Additional volumes of 100 titles each are also available.

The Quest X3ME recliner features a two-stage motorized “wall-hugger” recliner mechanism and is covered in 100% premium leather. Each chair frame is rigidly fabricated from hardwood solids and 13-ply European hardwood plywood with metal-to-metal fasteners to withstand the substantial motional forces created by the direct-drive actuators.

MSRP of Quest X3ME is $10,000 US. MSRP of the add-on, field-installable motion simulator system is $4,299. MSRP of the PC-based PC3 Motion Controller Interface (MCI) and Windows® software is $799. MSRP of the Series 3 340c Kinetron™ Controller with built-in 40-GB hard drive is $2,999. MSRP of F/X Motion Code Vol. 1, 2, 3, & 4 are $250/each. All prices given are US.
