CHICAGO, IL – February 7, 2006 – Due to their remarkable success and sky-rocketing demand, Peerless Industries, Inc., the industry leader in audio/visual mounting solutions, today introduced its enhanced and expanded 2006 SmartMount™ 600 Series Universal Flat Panel Wall Mounts. The 2006 models combine rock-solid strength with updated features that both simplify and expedite flat panel installations. The three redesigned and four entirely new models make Peerless’ SmartMounts the most comprehensive professional-grade flat panel mount family available for commercial and residential installations.

The redesigned Universal Tilt Wall Mounts (ST640, ST650, ST660) for 23”- 60” flat panel screens and new Universal Flat and Tilt Wall Mounts (SF670, SF680, ST670, ST680) for larger 42”-102” screens contain everything needed for a quick and simple install. They feature the industry’s first easy-glide bracket design that snaps into place with an audible click and a new wall plate that incorporates easily accessible ports for junction boxes and cable management. The tilt models contain a one-touch tilt mechanism for effortless adjustment of the screen, as well as 15-degrees of negative tilt for unobstructed access to the rear of the screen for cable management. Additionally, the tilt models offer a unique option to lock the angle in 5-degree increments, which is essential for applications when precise and uniform alignment of multiple screens is required.

All of the SmartMount 600 Series mounts are up to 30 percent stronger than the leading competitor’s, for safe, sturdy installation of flat panels ranging from 10” all the way to 102”.
