For “Field of DAMS,” Mr. Bachana will present best practices for change management as pertains to DAM. Mr. Bachana will offer practical suggestions and concrete examples on how to best involve stakeholders before, during, and after DAM implementation.
“The promise of DAM isn’t as easy as installing the technology and pointing people to the right Web site to access assets,” explained Mr. Bachana. “Along with software, there are a host of things that can go wrong with an enterprise deployment. What we are trying to do at this symposium is call attention to these ‘gotchas,” both for companies that are in-market for a DAM as well as those organizations that are trying to leverage the DAM investments they have already made.”
At the helm of the industry roundtable “The Realities of DAM Project Management, Warts & All” Mr. Bachana has brought together other industry leaders to share perspectives on a broad range of DAM implementations, including best practices and lessons learned.
Mr. Bachana is a digital publishing visionary and a well-versed thought leader on digital asset management among other related fields. Founded in 1999 by Mr. Bachana, DPCI has been a mainstay for companies that need to maximize the value of content in printed and digital form.
