“You can fit the CX 6 Travel in even the smallest of travel bags”, explained Eric Palonen, product manager for Sennheiser’s consumer electronics division. “It’s a genuine, high-end, ear-canal headphone with a powerful bass and detailed sound reproduction. For regular travelers, the CX 6 Travel is an ideal companion.”
The ear-canal headphone is outfitted with a 1/8" jack for connection to mobile multimedia players and is perfectly mated with in-flight entertainment systems via the double mono adapter. At the same time, this adapter changes the CX 6 Travel’s impedance, which must be considerably higher for in-flight entertainment systems than for mobile players. “This adapter enables the CX to sound fantastic whatever the source, whether it’s an MP3 player, a smartphone, a CD player or even an in-flight entertainment system”, said Palonen.
Being a real globetrotter, the CX 6 Travel comes loaded with a double mono adapter, a cable clip, a hard-shell transport case and adapter rings in S, M and L. This means the CX 6 Travel can be perfectly customized to the anatomy of your auditory canal, keeping distracting noise at arm’s length.
The CX 6 Travel will be available in stores from March 2008.
