High Performance and Affordable Cost

The term "overbuilt" gets thrown around a lot, but it really applies to the new JL Audio W0v2's. With beefy 2.0 or 2.5-inch voice coils and JL Audio's patented Elevated Frame Cooling for outstanding thermal power handling and stability, they can certainly handle power. Plus, their motors have been designed and refined using JL Audio's proprietary DMA modeling to reduce distortion, increase output and enhance overall fidelity. Best-in-class excursion capability results in increased output and better sound quality at higher listening levels, too.

An all-new stamped steel chassis underpins each W0v2 design and provides support for the flat, progressive roll spider, a very large positive roll surround and classy push terminals. The black mineral-filled polypropylene cone is finished with a concave dust cap, emblazoned with a white logo, in a manner that pays homage to JL Audio's classic woofer designs (including the original W0's). The motor structure is attractively finished with a molded cap that blends with the basket design. They definitely look like they mean business (and they back it up, too).

For maximum application flexibility, W0v2's are designed for use in compact sealed or medium-sized ported enclosures.
