Home audio electronics manufacturer Rotel has been known worldwide for creating components that deliver serious audio and video performance at affordable prices. At CEDIA Expo 2009, Rotel will do it again with the introduction of a new high performance custom installation amplifier, the RMB-1512.

According to Doug Henderson, Rotel's VP of. Sales & Marketing "Our dealers have been requesting a high powered, audiophile-grade, 12-channel custom installation amplifier built on our proven Class D amplifier technology. They're tired of struggling with heavy, hot running conventional distribution amps."

This powerful, yet compact new custom amplifier from Rotel puts out no less than 100 watts at 8 ohms across 12 channels and nearly double that number into 4 ohm loads. Long cable runs are no problem. The RMB-1512 runs far cooler than conventional Class A/B designs even when mounted in an enclosed space. Plus, its 3U chassis coupled with Rotel's easy rack-mounting system is extremely custom installation friendly. The RMB-1512 includes everything needed for remote operation, including 12-volt signal sensing, input bussing, sum-to-mono, buffered link output, front panel attenuation, five-way binding posts and screw terminals. The RMB-1512 is available in black only.
