I am going to get a pair of Pioneer Premier TS-W3001D4 12" to put into my 2000 Chevy Blazer. They have a peak of 3000 watts and i think like 1000 RMS. What amp would be best for this? and also thinkin of a new reciever? try to keep it within $700. Thanks

That is NOT a good amp if it's made by boss. Don't try to cheap out with amps, you get what you pay for.

Capacitors will not do anything, unnessecary.

That AQ 2200 is a great value, hard to find a good quality amp for less.

Which boss?
Best case scenario a 4000w boss is going to give you 2000 usable watts, poor efficiency, and iffy reliability.

The audioque will give you 2200-2400 usable watts efficiently and reliably.

and just throwing this out there cuz your still talking about "peak watts", do you have any electrical upgrades? you'll need them to run 2000rms
