ok guys. i have a few people asking me about how i like my sonances and the alpha i had. so i figured a thread with my honest review would answer some questions for some that are wondering.

RD ALPHA......i had this sub in a 3.5cuft ported box tuned to 32hz. this sub gets loud. not only does it get loud but it is very musical. the upper bass is unbelievable. because the upper bass sounds clean, it fills in the gap between the front stage and the subs really well. i really enjoyed listening to alot of jazz and pop music cause it sounds really nice.

when i put on some bass songs like lil jon and jeezy, it comes alive. i couldn't believe i only had 1 15 in my trunk. the lows are awesome but i've had better. (read list below of the subs i've had in my car).

RD SONANCE.......i have a pair 10s in a 2 cuft ported box tuned to 32hz. i also had them in a sealed box............

sealed: it has a very nice flat response. all the way from low to high it plays perfect. by far one of the best sounding subs i've heard in my car (again read the list of subs i've used below). the output is also great for having it in sealed box. sometime i forget that they are sealed.

ported.......now we are talking. these subs just came alive. i mean the output is just too awesome ported. and guess what, it maintained the sq of sealed. i couldn't believe my ears. i practically wet my pants. :-) as some of you know my favorite type of music is hard heavy metal to jonas brothers. it plays all of them perfect. fast kick drums beat the sh!t out of your head while the soothing sound of bass guitar on jazz music just relaxes you. after a hard days work, i look forward to getting in my car and putting on a song with some smooth bass sounds.

LIST OF SUBS I'VE OWNED

fi audio btl 15
audiopulse revo 15
re sexxx
jl audio 12w6v2
alpine type r 12
alpine type x 12
treo ssi 12
stereo integrity mag 15
re sx 18
kicker cvr 12
dd 9512
sound splinter rl-s
audiobahn aw1208t

let me just say i wouldn't go back to any of the subs i've listed after listening to my sonance. so some of you guys that hate rd audio can call me a rd fanboy. i really don't give a sh!t. i am just giving my honest review.

Getting a review from Chad about how something sounds is like asking Stevie Wonder how your paint job looks...

me too!!!!! lol I've heard people say that the 2005's are not as powerful as the 2006's or 2008's.. I would debate that all day long... They knocked the hell out of my Solo X's and these 18's.. I can bang them for hours and they are still cool to the touch. The are a solid budget amp, but obviously a lil overrated. I will sell them locally anyways.. I will get a lot more money for them and people can hear them hooked up to the 18's(BIG SELLING POINT) It is impressive to hear for most of these locals. 47's with hifonic amps on stock charging. Around here 1000 wrms amps go for $250-$300 used so these for $250 for these will go fast.. They are probably sold... just waiting for payday...

P.S. Yanks.... You got to know that I was joking... I know you would not by these amps...
