my buddy is looking for a single 10 inch sub and amp that will hit and sound good

not sure about the box if he wants sealed or ported but im sure we could make either if it came down to it

That's a good price on the SE10 but that sub is not close to the Revo. Why are you even asking us if your friend won't have the money to buy anything for 3 months? By that time, all the subs on sale that were linked in this thread will be long gone and you will have to start all over again. My advice to you is to tell your buddy to grab one of those Revo's before they are sold out and then save up for a decent amp in the 1200-1500RMS range. The AP Revo is one of the best 10's you can buy, and nobody here will even debate that.
