I suck at boxes and will probably have BJ design me a box but I have some quick questions you guys can answer. First off, I just measured my trunk in the freezing cold and it appears that the biggest box I can get having a simple rectangular box with no angled cuts has an area of 38 wide, 12 high, and 23 deep. Plug that in and you get a whopping 4.76845cuft. Now, the box I'm looking to build needs to be roughly 3cuft tuned to 30hz. This is where I give up. Let's just suppose I use these dimensions, after port and sub displacement, what net cuft number am I looking at, roughly? I'm hoping and thinking that I don't need to use all that space and am hoping I can cut an inch or two here and there. Anyone who wants to help, let me know cause I am about as big of a noob you will find when it comes to boxes and I'm not afraid to say it lol. |

find your sub and port displacement. The sub displacement looks to be .19 cu. ft. |
