I need help picking a head unit, my budget is $300

i don't want an indash or a navigation unit

i do want it to be able to play mp3's and have an IPOD connector

any help is appreciated

if you want an ipod input, check out some alpine or pioneer head units. For alpine i recommend the CDA-9886, priced at 265 on onlinecarstereo.com, and for pioneer, the premier DEH-P7000BT priced at 249. They both have ipod connectors and are both under your budget. Hope that helped

I would recommend what brian said, as well and I would choose hands down the Eclipse cd5000, has all the tools you need, and superb SQ, actually better then the 2 brian have listed IMO, although to an untrained ear you might not be able to tell the difference in SQ.

shak im selling a pioneer deh-p9800bt for 200 bucks..500 dollar cd player brand new and its plays every kind of disc there is. mp3, data etc....It also has a 5v preout and 16 band graphic equalizer. let me know man
