Currently running 2 cvr 15's on a kx1200.1(old setup)


I just need to know if this would be a pretty good setup or not. And would it get reallly loud?(new setup below)




2 Audioque HDC3 15's, blazer box


width - 37"

height - 24"

depth - 28"


double layered mdf - 1.5"


Box tuning 36-38hz @ 5.2 cubes per side

2 6" aero ports per side, facing rear, subs facing top(4 total)





Amp AQ3500.1

200a alternator

Kinetick 2400

meant 4 6" aero ports total, subs facing top, and ports facing rear

sounds like you know what you want... You could bump up the amperage on the Alt if you can..

What you got for frontstage? Gonna need a lil extra sound with that sub setup.

its a 87 2door s10 blazer, with older biult 350.but i couldn't find a bigger alt than the 200, cause its the older 1wire style gm alt's.but other than that i have my hdc3's on order, and the 2400 batt on order to.

ohh my sound is alpine typer 6x9's back, and typer 6.5 components front, with autotek SM4-1000 125x4, mids and highs get pretty loud and clean


this may be a DUMB question, but this should KILL my cvr 15's right?

The subs are a drastic step up from the cvr's, and you are tripling your power. That being said, It should, but enclosure and install play to big of a factor to say for sure.. I would certainly hope so!
